Pastry Chef
We are in search of a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team in Vejle, Denmark. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of pastry dishes including cakes, pastries, breads, and desserts. Your creativity and attention to detail will be key in ensuring that each dish is not only visually appealing but also delicious.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the head chef to develop new pastry recipes
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastry dishes according to established recipes
- Decorate pastries using different techniques such as icing, glazes, and toppings
- Ensure that all food products are of high quality and meet food safety standards
- Monitor inventory of ingredients and place orders as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen
- Culinary degree or diploma from an accredited institution preferred
- Knowledge of various baking techniques and recipes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time-management skills
- Fluent in English (Danish or other languages is a plus)
Salary: 900$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
