Merchandiser

The Merchandiser will play a crucial role in our retail team by ensuring that our products are presented in an appealing and organized manner to attract customers. This position requires someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of market trends.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure that products are displayed correctly and in line with brand guidelines
- Work closely with the store manager to develop effective merchandising strategies
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotions and events
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any restocking needs
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for product placement
- Train store staff on proper product presentation techniques
- Participate in product development meetings to provide insights on customer preferences and market trends
- Maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing for new products

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in a retail environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of market trends and customer preferences
- Ability to analyze sales data and make strategic decisions based on insights
- Attention to detail and creative mindset for visual merchandising displays
- Knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree or certification in marketing, merchandising, or a related field is preferred.

Salary:
The starting salary for this position is $1300 per month.
