Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial activities of our company in Plovdiv. Your main duties will include preparing financial statements, analyzing and interpreting financial data, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as experience with accounting software. You should also possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of financial reports. Excellent communication skills are essential for effectively communicating financial information to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist with budgeting process
- Provide support during audits
- Train junior accounting staff members

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or finance roles
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
