Power Engineer - Mombasa, Kenya


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Engineer to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Power Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, testing and maintaining power systems and equipment. Your role will involve working with a variety of energy sources such as solar, wind, hydro and fossil fuels to ensure efficient and reliable power supply.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain power systems for various applications including residential, commercial and industrial
- Conduct tests on power equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to power systems
- Develop plans for energy efficiency and cost reduction measures
- Stay updated with industry developments and advancements in power engineering technology
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to complete projects on time and within budget
- Provide technical support to clients and address any concerns or questions they may have

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Power Engineer
- Strong knowledge of power system design principles and relevant regulations
- Proficiency in using software programs such as AutoCAD or MATLAB for design purposes
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.
