Head Chef - Indian Cuisine
We are a renowned restaurant located in Triesen and we are seeking an experienced Head Chef specializing in Indian cuisine. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing our kitchen operations, creating and executing delicious and authentic Indian dishes, managing a team of kitchen staff, and ensuring food quality and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and authentic Indian dishes for our menu
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to high-quality standards and presented attractively
- Train, supervise and schedule kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders when necessary
- Follow food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with management to plan menus, events, and special promotions
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Proven ability to create innovative Indian dishes while maintaining traditional flavors
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation of dishes during busy periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Salary: $1100 per month
