Entry-Level Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Information Security Analyst. As an analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security systems, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and implementing appropriate solutions to protect our company's data and systems.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor security systems and networks for potential threats or breaches
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits
- Analyze system logs and reports to identify any suspicious activity
- Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for resolution
- Develop and implement security measures to protect against cyber attacks
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in information security

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security tools
- Knowledge of information security principles and best practices
- Experience with risk assessment tools and methodologies
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Preference will be given to candidates with the following qualifications:
- Certification in information security (e.g. CISSP, CISM)
- Experience working in a professional IT environment
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g. HIPAA, GDPR)
