Surveyor (Nairobi, Kenya)


A leading construction company in Nairobi is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surveyor to join our team. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys and producing accurate data for various construction projects. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1500$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct topographic, boundary, and cadastral surveys using the latest surveying equipment
- Prepare detailed survey reports and maps using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Analyze survey data and make calculations to determine property boundaries, elevations, and other important information
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accuracy in project planning and design
- Provide guidance and support to field crews during surveying operations
- Maintain accurate records of survey data and documentation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Surveyor in the construction industry
- Proficient in using total station, GPS, and other surveying equipment
- Strong knowledge of land surveying techniques, principles, and regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license or certification
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or other CAD software
