Executive Chef for Fine Dining Restaurant in Lom, Africa
Our prestigious fine dining restaurant in Lom, Africa is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exceptional dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, and supervising kitchen staff. You should have strong leadership skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that align with our restaurant's concept
- Oversee food preparation and ensure high quality standards are met
- Manage inventory and control costs
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new dishes and specials
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Passion for creating innovative, high-quality dishes using local ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of menu development, food costing, and inventory management
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting
Salary: $1000 USD per month (negotiable based on experience)
