Executive Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our restaurant in Beer-Sheva. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations and managing the kitchen team. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month, as well as accommodation provided.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of our customers
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure food quality and presentation meets the highest standards
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation according to health codes
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and profit maximization
- Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and ingredients to continuously improve menu offerings
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Proven track record of successfully managing a kitchen team
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and delegate tasks effectively
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and passion for creating delicious dishes
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Fluent in English (Hebrew is an asset)
