Instrument Technician
We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Mauren. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of instruments and control systems used in various industries such as oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair various instruments including pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves
- Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure proper functioning of instruments
- Diagnose and resolve issues with control systems including Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to determine equipment specifications and troubleshooting procedures
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify solutions for complex problems
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any defects or malfunctions to management
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times while working on site
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in a similar role
- Familiarity with various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial environments
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of German is a plus)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Salary: 1200$ per month
Location: Mauren (Indian nationals preferred)
