Computer Research Scientist
Junior Computer Research Scientist
As a Junior Computer Research Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting research and development in the field of computer science, with a focus on data analysis and machine learning. You will work under the guidance of senior scientists and collaborate with a team to design and implement experiments, analyze results, and contribute to the development of innovative technologies.
Your main duties will include:
- Conducting literature reviews and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in computer science
- Designing and implementing experiments to test hypotheses
- Analyzing data using statistical methods and machine learning techniques
- Presenting results in reports or presentations to team members and stakeholders
- Collaborating with team members to develop new algorithms or improve existing ones
- Writing code in various programming languages, such as Python or Java
- Contributing to patent applications for new technologies developed by the team
- Participating in conferences or workshops to present research findings or learn about new advancements in the field.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Strong knowledge of data analysis techniques and machine learning algorithms
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, etc.)
- Good understanding of database systems and SQL queries
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in computer science or related field
- Experience with big data tools such as Hadoop or Spark
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
Salary: $1800 per month (part-time)
