Office Administrative Assistant
We are in need of a reliable and organized Office Administrative Assistant to join our team in Sharjah. As an Office Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks such as answering and directing phone calls, scheduling appointments and meetings, maintaining office supplies, and assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Answering and directing phone calls to the appropriate person or department
- Greeting and assisting visitors to the office
- Maintaining office supplies inventory by checking stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Scheduling appointments and meetings for staff members
- Assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, processing invoices, and preparing financial reports
- Organizing and maintaining physical and digital files
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail
- Performing general clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, and mailing documents
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office assistant is a plus
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Salary: 1600$ per month
Location: Sharjah
Nationality: Indian (preference)
