Waiter/Waitress



We are seeking a friendly and experienced waiter/waitress to join our team at our bustling restaurant in Mombasa. As a waiter/waitress, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing excellent customer service to our guests. Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers, take their orders and ensure prompt delivery of food and drinks
- Provide excellent customer service by being attentive to customers' needs and ensuring their satisfaction
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Clean and prepare tables for new guests
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress preferred but not required
- Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers from different backgrounds
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
