Data Analytics Specialist

As a Data Analytics Specialist based in Funchal, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting large sets of data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will support business decision making. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing data-driven strategies to drive growth and improve overall performance.

Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large sets of data from various sources
- Develop and maintain databases to store and manage the collected data
- Use statistical techniques to identify patterns and trends in the data
- Create reports and visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide actionable insights
- Develop predictive models using statistical tools to anticipate future trends
- Continuously monitor data quality to ensure accuracy and reliability

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Proven experience in data analysis with advanced knowledge of SQL, Excel, Python or R
- Strong understanding of database design and management principles
- Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)

This is a full-time position with accommodation provided. Candidates must have their own visa for working in Funchal. This is an urgent job opportunity so interested candidates are encouraged to apply immediately.
