Job Title: Electrician - Funchal, Madeira


We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team in Funchal, Madeira. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in both residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local codes and safety regulations
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems using testing equipment
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs
- Keep accurate records of all work performed
- Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions about electrical systems
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and techniques through ongoing training and education

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrician in a professional setting (minimum of 2 years preferred)
- Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Familiarity with various types of electrical systems (e.g. residential, commercial)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must have own tools and reliable transportation
- Valid electrician license or certification preferred

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.

This is a full-time job based in Funchal, the capital city of Madeira. The island is known for its beautiful landscapes, mild climate, and rich culture.
