Carpenter - Mecca, Saudi Arabia



A reputable construction company in Mecca, Saudi Arabia is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials according to specifications. This is a full-time position that does not include accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, pencil or chalk
- Cut and shape materials using hand or power tools
- Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props using nails, screws or adhesives
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings etc.
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in a construction setting
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Good understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation/repair
- Proficient with hand tools such as saws, drills etc. as well as power tools
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and equipment
- Excellent mathematical skills for measuring materials accurately
- Attention to detail with good problem-solving abilities

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700 USD per month.
