PHP Developer


We are a fast-growing tech company based in Lisbon and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PHP Developer to join our team on a contract basis. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications, ensuring their functionality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs in existing applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proven work experience as a PHP Developer
- Strong understanding of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
- Experience with front-end development tools like Bootstrap or jQuery is a plus
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud technologies is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Salary:
We offer competitive salary starting at $1200 per month depending on qualifications.

Location:
This is an on-site position located in Lisbon. We welcome applicants from all nationalities.

Contract Duration:
This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months. There is potential for extension based on performance.
