Junior Civil Engineer

As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, planning and construction of various civil engineering projects in Funchal. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1100 per month. We welcome candidates without prior experience, however, you must have a valid biometric passport. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in the field of civil engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and planning of civil engineering projects under the supervision of senior engineers
- Conduct site visits to gather data and monitor progress
- Prepare drawings, plans and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to ensure project objectives are met within budget and timeline constraints
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Microstation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
