Network and Systems Administrator


We are hiring a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing our company's computer network and systems. Your main goal will be to ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure, troubleshoot any issues that arise, and implement necessary upgrades or improvements.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor the performance of our network and systems on a daily basis
- Troubleshoot and resolve any network or system issues in a timely manner
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates to keep our network operating efficiently
- Implement security measures to protect our company's data and systems
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to plan and implement new projects or upgrades
- Provide technical support to internal employees regarding network or system-related inquiries
- Keep track of inventory levels for hardware, software, and other IT equipment
- Create documentation for network procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols, VPNs, DNS/DHCP management
- Experience with Cisco routers/switches, firewalls, wireless access points
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this position. In addition, we also provide accommodation for our employees if needed.
