Carpenter (Contract)

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Bergen. As a Contract Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, including building frameworks, partitions, floors, and stairways. This role is suitable for men with or without experience in carpentry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet client specifications
- Repair or replace damaged frameworks or other structures
- Inspect and maintain tools and equipment
- Collaborate with other construction workers on projects

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment
- Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings
- Physically fit to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in English (Norwegian is a plus)

Salary: 1700$ per month. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment. We offer competitive compensation packages based on experience.
