Job Title: Typesetter - Eschen, Liechtenstein


We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Eschen, Liechtenstein. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and setting text for various printed materials such as books, magazines, and newspapers. Your attention to detail and knowledge of various typesetting software will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our publications. You will also work closely with our editorial and design teams to ensure the layout and design of our publications meet industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of typography and layout principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Format and set text for print publications using typesetting software
- Review manuscripts for potential formatting issues
- Collaborate with editorial and design teams to ensure layout and design meet industry standards
- Ensure accuracy of text, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Make necessary adjustments to layouts based on client feedback or changes in requirements
- Stay updated on new typesetting software and techniques
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Strong understanding of typography principles
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Attention to detail and ability to spot errors in text
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in book or magazine publishing industry
- Familiarity with biometric passport specifications
- Knowledge of additional languages besides English
