We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team at a luxury hotel in Porto. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a thorough understanding of the hospitality industry. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy rates. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, managing the sales team, and analyzing market trends to identify new business opportunities. This is a part-time position with a competitive salary of $1100 per month.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking
- Build strong relationships with clients to increase repeat business
- Manage the sales team, providing training and guidance as needed
- Monitor market trends to identify potential risks or opportunities for the hotel
- Prepare sales reports and presentations for senior management
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, events, and revenue management to maximize profitability
- Attend industry events and conferences to promote the hotel
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and competitors' activities

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales or related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience managing a team is preferred but not required
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus
- Must be legally authorized to work in Porto without visa sponsorship
