Experienced Mason - Fonvieille


We are seeking an experienced Mason to join our team in Fonvieille. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining various structures such as walls, floors, and foundations. You will also be required to work with different materials such as bricks, stones, and concrete to create sturdy and aesthetically pleasing structures.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be covered with bricks or other materials
- Cut or break bricks and concrete using hammers, saws, or other hand tools
- Mix mortar or grout and apply it to surfaces using trowels or other tools
- Lay bricks or stones in a specific pattern to create walls or other structures
- Smooth and level surfaces using tools such as trowels or screeds
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones
- Follow safety procedures while working with heavy materials and equipment

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Mason in the construction industry
- Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans accurately
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials, bend, stoop, and stand for long periods of time
- Knowledge of different types of bricks, stones, mortar mixtures, and their uses
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Own basic set of masonry tools required for the job
- Valid work visa for Fonvieille (if not a citizen)

Salary:
The salary for this full-time position is 1100$ per month. We offer competitive pay based on your experience level.
