Plasterboard Worker

Our company in Akron is seeking a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall and other types of plasterboard in residential and commercial buildings. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting plasterboard to fit specific areas, securing it to walls or ceilings, and applying joint compound to create a smooth surface. You may also be required to repair or replace damaged plasterboard as needed.

To excel in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience working as a Plasterboard Worker and possess strong knowledge of different types of plasterboard and their applications. The ideal candidate will also have excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard according to specifications
- Install plasterboard on walls or ceilings using screws or adhesive
- Apply joint compound to seams between plasterboards
- Smooth out compound using hand tools or mechanical sanders
- Repair or replace damaged plasterboards as needed
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Plasterboard Worker
- Strong understanding of different types of plasterboard and their uses
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Basic understanding of safety procedures
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable)

Location: Akron, Ohio (Filipino candidates preferred)
