Web Developer (Funchal, Portugal)



We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Web Developer to join our dynamic team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to our clients' specifications. You will strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

Responsibilities:
- Design, code and modify websites according to client specifications
- Collaborate with designers, back-end developers and project managers to deliver high-quality products
- Optimize website performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure website functionality across different browsers and devices
- Continuously test and improve website functionality
- Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies, techniques and industry trends
- Troubleshoot website issues as they arise

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Web Developer or similar role
- Proficient in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and other front-end languages
- Experience with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Sketch is a plus
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal
- Knowledge of SEO principles is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design or related field preferred but not required
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous web development projects

Salary: 900$ per month (negotiable based on skills and experience)

This is a full-time position without accommodation provided. However, we offer visa sponsorship for non-EU candidates.
