Mason - Construction and Repair Specialist


We are currently hiring skilled masons to join our construction and repair team in Moscow. As a Mason, you will be responsible for the skilled construction, installation, and repair of structures made of brick, stone, concrete blocks or other materials. This is a contract job with a competitive salary of 1300$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze building plans to determine materials and equipment needed for each project
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning them of any debris or mortar using chisels, hammers or other tools
- Mix mortar or grout according to specific ratios and apply it evenly to create level surfaces
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks or other materials in rows following blueprints or designs
- Align structures using plumb bobs, levels or straightedges and adjust accordingly
- Cut, shape and polish stones using hand or power tools
- Repair and replace damaged bricks or stones using appropriate techniques
- Collaborate with other construction workers to ensure smooth execution of projects

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a mason in construction or repair projects
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with different types of masonry materials and their properties
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as chisels, hammers, trowels etc.
- Good physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and precision in executing tasks
