Filipino Cuisine Chef


We are seeking a skilled and passionate Filipino Cuisine Chef to join our restaurant team in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. As a chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and authentic Filipino dishes, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare traditional Filipino dishes according to menu specifications
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to high quality standards, including taste, presentation, and portion control
- Manage kitchen operations, including food inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain consistency in food preparation
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following proper sanitation standards
- Monitor food costs and maintain budget efficiency
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a chef specializing in Filipino cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Filipino ingredients, cooking techniques, and flavors
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage kitchen staff
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English (Filipino language skills preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Open to all nationalities. English proficiency is required.
