Part-Time Librarian
City: Beer-Sheva, Israel



We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Librarian to join our team in Beer-Sheva, Israel. As a librarian, you will be responsible for managing the collection of books, journals, and other materials in our library. This position is suitable for men who have a passion for literature and are looking for flexible part-time employment.

Responsibilities:
- Catalogue and classify new materials using the Dewey Decimal System
- Maintain an organized and user-friendly library layout
- Assist patrons with locating and accessing materials
- Manage loan requests and returns
- Handle overdue fines and maintain accurate records of library transactions
- Stay updated on new releases and trends in literature to make informed purchasing decisions
- Collaborate with other librarians to plan and implement library programs and events

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field (preferred)
- Previous experience working in a library setting (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with cataloguing systems such as MARC or AACR2
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month based on 20 hours per week.

Our library is located in the vibrant city of Beer-Sheva, known for its rich history, diverse culture, and thriving academic community. This position is open to all nationalities, however, proficiency in Hebrew is preferred.
