Part-Time Florist Assistant in Alta, Norway


We are seeking a part-time Florist Assistant to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a florist assistant, you will assist with the day-to-day operations of our flower shop and help create beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for flowers and design to gain hands-on experience in the floral industry.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting with customer service by taking orders, answering phone calls, and providing recommendations on flower arrangements
- Preparing and arranging flowers for delivery or pickup according to customer requests
- Maintaining inventory levels and ensuring flowers are fresh and well-stocked
- Handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate records of sales
- Cleaning work areas and ensuring the shop is presentable at all times

Requirements:
- No prior experience is required, but basic knowledge of different types of flowers and their care is preferred
- Must have a biometric passport or be willing to obtain one (if not already a Norwegian citizen)
- Must be able to work on weekends and holidays as needed
- A creative eye for design and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds as some tasks may involve heavy lifting
