Pastry Chef

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pastry Chef to join our team in Jizan. As a Pastry Chef, your main responsibility will be to create delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries for our restaurant. You will be in charge of the entire pastry department, including ordering ingredients, managing inventory, and supervising the pastry team.

To be successful in this role, you must have solid experience as a Pastry Chef and a passion for creating unique and high-quality desserts. You should also have strong leadership skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Create and design new dessert menus based on seasonal ingredients
- Prepare all types of pastries, including cakes, cookies, tarts, and breads
- Decorate pastries using various techniques such as icing, glazing, and piping
- Manage inventory of ingredients and order supplies when needed
- Train and supervise pastry team members on proper techniques and recipes
- Ensure all food safety standards are met in the pastry department
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of various baking techniques and trends
- Experience with creating unique dessert menus
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently
- Attention to detail with a creative eye for presentation
- Food safety certification is preferred

Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Jizan (Indians preferred)
