Foundry Technician

We are in search of a skilled and organized Foundry Technician to join our team at our foundry in Eldoret. As a Foundry Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various foundry equipment, including furnaces, molds, and casting machines. Your main duties will include preparing molds, melting and pouring metal into molds, and inspecting finished products for defects.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of foundry processes and techniques. You should also have experience with using tools such as ladles, tongs, and cranes to manipulate molten metal. Additionally, being detail-oriented and having good hand-eye coordination is crucial in order to produce high-quality castings.

As a Foundry Technician, you will need to work closely with other team members to ensure that production targets are met. Therefore, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are essential. While previous experience in a foundry setting is preferred, we are open to considering candidates without prior experience who possess the necessary skills and aptitude for the role.

This is a full-time position with competitive salary of $1700 per month. As this job does not provide accommodation, we are looking for local candidates from Eldoret or nearby areas.
