Head Chef
As the Head Chef at our upscale restaurant in Remish, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operations. Your primary goal will be to create and maintain a high-quality dining experience for our guests by consistently delivering delicious and visually appealing dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute menus that showcase creativity, variety, and quality
- Source high-quality ingredients from local suppliers and manage inventory
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Monitor food costs and ensure budget targets are met
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor combinations, and presentation standards
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate tasks effectively
- Good understanding of food costing, inventory management, and kitchen operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts from an accredited institution
- Experience working with international cuisine or fusion cuisine is a plus
- Fluent in Malayalam preferred but not required
