Network and Systems Administrator

We are hiring a Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Karachi. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation, and providing technical support to our users. This is a part-time position that does not require previous experience or accommodation.

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our network systems, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and other hardware. You will also troubleshoot network issues as they arise and work to resolve them quickly to minimize downtime. Additionally, you will be responsible for installing new equipment and configuring it to our network specifications.

As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will also provide technical support to our users, including troubleshooting software and hardware issues, setting up new user accounts, and providing training on network systems as needed. You will also work with other departments to ensure that their technology needs are being met.

To excel in this role, you should have strong knowledge of networking principles and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc. You should also have experience with network security measures such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems. Strong problem-solving skills are essential for troubleshooting network issues effectively.

A degree in computer science or a related field is preferred but not required for this position. However, relevant certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ would be considered an asset. The ability to work independently and prioritize tasks is also important for success in this role.
