Pastry Chef
We are a renowned hotel located in Ar-Ruwais, seeking an experienced and skilled Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and other desserts following traditional and modern recipes
- Decorate pastries using various techniques to enhance their presentation
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure freshness and availability of ingredients
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the pastry section
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
- Develop new menu items and seasonal specials based on customer feedback and market trends
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-volume establishment
- In-depth knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, equipment, and sanitation standards
- Creative mindset with the ability to translate ideas into visually appealing desserts
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills to effectively lead a team
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree is a plus
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a reputable establishment
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package starting at $900 per month, depending on experience.
