Job Title: Junior Information Security Analyst



As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's information systems and data. Your main duties will include conducting risk assessments, implementing security measures, and monitoring for potential threats or breaches.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in our systems
- Implement and maintain security policies and procedures to protect against cyber attacks
- Monitor networks and systems for any suspicious activity or breaches
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, providing support in resolving issues
- Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in information security technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Knowledge of information security principles, including risk assessment methodologies and encryption techniques
- Familiarity with various operating systems, network infrastructure, and web application architecture
- Ability to analyze complex technical information and communicate it effectively to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability scanners is a plus

Salary:
The starting salary for this position is $1200 per month.

Location:
This role is based in Almada but can also be performed remotely.
