We are a well-established construction company looking for skilled Welders to join our team in Shan, Kenya. As a Welder, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing metal structures, equipment, and machinery using various welding techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and instructions to determine project specifications
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and join metal pieces together
- Operate welding equipment to fuse metal components according to project requirements
- Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in welding preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Welder in a construction or manufacturing setting
- Strong understanding of different welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and ARC welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of metal properties and ability to work with different types of metals
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good physical stamina and dexterity

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this position.

This position is based in Shan, Kenya.

Contract Type:
This is a full-time contract position.
