Cashier - Entry Level


We are a multinational retail chain seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team in Nairobi. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent service. This position is suitable for both Canadian and Kenyan nationals who are fluent in English.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and assist them with their purchases
- Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Ensure all products are scanned correctly and prices are accurate
- Keep track of inventory levels and notify the appropriate department when items need to be restocked
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience as a cashier is not required but is considered an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
and professionally
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Benefits:
