Android Developer


We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Lahore. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mobile applications for the Android platform. Your primary focus will be creating high-quality, user-friendly, and efficient applications that meet our clients' needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Android Studio, Java, and other programming languages. Prior experience in mobile application development and a strong understanding of the entire mobile development process is required. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of 1400$ per month, along with accommodation and assistance with obtaining a biometric passport.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Java and other programming languages
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness meet client expectations
- Identify and troubleshoot bugs and improve application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mobile application development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as an Android Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android OS, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
- Experience working with remote data via JSON or XML
- Experience with third-party libraries such as Retrofit, OkHttp, Glide etc.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
- Excellent debugging skills to quickly identify issues and propose solutions
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing complex native applications for multiple device types (phone, tablet, wearable)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes
- Knowledge of user interface design principles and best practices
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
