Floral Designer

As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating beautiful and unique floral arrangements for various events and occasions. Your main duties will include designing and arranging flowers, selecting appropriate containers and supplies, and maintaining the freshness of the flowers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for floral arrangements
- Create unique and visually appealing floral designs according to client specifications
- Select appropriate flowers, foliage, containers, and other materials for each arrangement
- Ensure the freshness of flowers by properly handling and storing them
- Arrange flowers in a variety of styles such as bouquets, wreaths, centerpieces, etc.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and order new materials as needed
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in floral design and incorporate them into your creations
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering any questions or concerns from clients regarding their orders
- Set up floral displays at events or venues as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal education in floristry is a plus
- Proven experience as a Floral Designer or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of different types of flowers, foliage, and plants
- Creativity and artistic skills to design unique arrangements
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision to create aesthetically pleasing designs
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
- Good communication skills to collaborate with clients effectively
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects when needed

Salary:
This position offers a salary of $1300 per month.

This job is located in Eldoret, Kenya.
