Junior Accountant - Contract Position (Faro, Portugal)



Our accounting firm in Faro is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented junior accountant to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting and be able to work independently while also collaborating with our team. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and preparing financial reports
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial information
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

- CPA designation or working towards CPA designation
- Experience working at an accounting firm
- Knowledge of Portuguese tax laws and regulations

We are offering a competitive salary of $1400 per month for this contract position. We also provide a free visa and ticket for non-EU nationals.
