Job Title: Accountant (Faro, Portugal)



We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all accounting regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for the company
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential risks
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with all local tax laws and regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and recommendations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 2+ years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Faro, Portugal. However, we welcome applicants from all nationalities. Please note that this position does not include accommodation.
