Dietitian - Nutritionist (Shan, Kenya)


We are searching for a qualified and experienced Dietitian - Nutritionist to join our healthcare team in Shan, Kenya. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs and creating personalized meal plans to help them achieve their health goals. As a Dietitian - Nutritionist, you will also provide counseling and education on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' current dietary habits and medical history to determine their nutritional needs
- Develop individualized meal plans based on patients' health goals, food preferences, and dietary restrictions
- Educate patients on the importance of proper nutrition and the impact of diet on overall health
- Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their meal plans as needed
- Provide counseling to patients with specific health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, or food allergies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Keep accurate records of patient consultations and progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field from an accredited institution
- Proven experience as a Dietitian - Nutritionist in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of nutrition principles and ability to apply them in creating personalized meal plans
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively educate and counsel patients from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Salary: 1700$

Location: Shan, Kenya
