Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Wiltz. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing our company's databases. This position requires a strong understanding of database management systems, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise with the databases
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as backups, upgrades, and patching
- Develop and implement data management policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate databases with other systems
- Train and support end-users on how to use the databases effectively
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
- Experience with database security, backup, and recovery procedures
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Wiltz (accommodation provided)
