Office Assistant
We are hiring an efficient and organized Office Assistant to join our team in Almada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring smooth operation of the office on a daily basis. This is a contract job with visa sponsorship available, making it suitable for freshers looking to gain experience in an office setting.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors and clients, both in person and over the phone
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, emails, and faxes
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock levels and placing orders as needed
- Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and events
- Assist with preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as required
- Keep track of office expenses and invoices for payment processing
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration is a plus
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Fluent in Portuguese (both spoken and written)
