Instrument Technician - Khasab, Oman


We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Khasab, Oman. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial processes. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair various instruments used in industrial processes
- Perform preventative maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
- Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve issues
- Stay updated on new technologies and industry developments related to instrumentation

Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Technical diploma or certification in instrumentation or a related field
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits and measurement devices
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Familiarity with calibration tools and software
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physical stamina to work in challenging environments for extended periods

Preferred:
- Indian nationality
- Previous experience working in the oil and gas industry
- Knowledge of Arabic language
