Foundry Technician

We are looking for a skilled Foundry Technician to join our team in Split. This is a full-time position, offering a salary of $1600 per month. As a Foundry Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our foundry equipment and ensuring the production of high-quality castings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain foundry equipment, including furnaces, ladles, and molds
- Prepare and pour molten metal into molds according to specifications
- Monitor and adjust temperature, pressure, and other parameters to ensure proper casting
- Inspect castings for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Maintain an organized inventory of materials and supplies
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as a Foundry Technician or in a similar role
- Knowledge of foundry processes and equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit for the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods of time
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with different types of metals such as steel, aluminum, or iron
- Familiarity with welding techniques
- Strong computer skills for data entry and record keeping
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
