Network and Systems Administrator

We are currently hiring a Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Almada. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and maintaining computer networks, systems, and servers. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for troubleshooting network issues, implementing security protocols, and ensuring system backups are performed regularly. Additional duties may include installing new hardware or software, monitoring network performance, and providing technical support to end-users. The position is a contract job with no accommodation provided. Compensation for this role is 1300$ per month.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Knowledge of networking technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Ability to troubleshoot network issues and perform system backups
- Experience in installing and configuring hardware/software
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide technical support to end-users
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA, MCSA) are a plus

Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices

Location: Almada, Portugal (non-negotiable)
