DevOps Developer


As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our organization's infrastructure and improving its operational efficiency. Your main focus will be on automating processes, implementing monitoring and alerting systems, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our software development lifecycle. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain our organization's infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability and security
- Automate deployment processes using tools like Ansible, Puppet or Chef
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure timely detection of performance issues
- Collaborate with development teams to implement Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD)
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or related role
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating system and shell scripting
- Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet or Chef
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
- Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Ruby or Java
- Experience with database management systems like MySQL or MongoDB
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Terraform or CloudFormation

Location: Braga, Portugal (Visa sponsorship available)

Salary: $1500 per month
