Executive Chef
We are currently hiring an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Shan. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and managing kitchen staff. You must have a strong background in culinary arts and proven leadership skills to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Train, supervise and schedule kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production
- Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment according to sanitation standards
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and improve existing recipes
- Ensure consistent quality of food presentation and taste
- Implement cost-cutting measures while maintaining high-quality standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or equivalent role
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification
- Fluent in English
