We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Lisbon. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our company's financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and be able to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Conduct regular audits of financial transactions and documents
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Prepare tax returns and other government filings
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance role
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (Quickbooks, SAP, etc.)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations (GAAP)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure with tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Fluency in English (knowledge of Portuguese is a plus)

Salary: 1500$ per month

Location: Lisbon, Portugal
